Description
Enjoy these crispy baby potatoes made in an air fryer, perfect as a side dish or snack!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1½ pounds baby potatoes, halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Prepare the potatoes – Start by washing and drying the baby potatoes. Cut them in half so they cook evenly. Smaller pieces mean more surface area for that irresistible crisp texture.
- Season the potatoes – Place the potatoes in a large bowl. Add olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together until the potatoes are evenly coated with seasoning.
- Preheat the air fryer – Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Allow it to preheat for about 3–5 minutes so the potatoes begin crisping immediately when they go in.
- Arrange the potatoes – Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding, which can prevent them from becoming perfectly crisp.
- Cook until golden – Air fry for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking. This helps the potatoes brown evenly on all sides.
- Finish and serve – Once the potatoes are beautifully golden and crisp, transfer them to a serving bowl and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve warm and enjoy the satisfying crunch of homemade air fryer crispy potatoes.
Notes
- If you prefer extra crispy potatoes, you can increase the cooking time slightly.
- Feel free to experiment with different seasonings or herbs to customize the flavor.
