Description

This creamy hot chocolate recipe is perfect for warming up on a cold day. Made in a slow cooker, it’s easy to prepare and can be customized with your favorite toppings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups whole milk or milk of your choice
  • 1 cup half and half or heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 ½ cups hot chocolate mix
  • 2 milk chocolate bars
  • Toppings: Marshmallows (whipped cream, chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, peppermint pieces, etc)

Instructions

  1. In a large slow cooker, combine milk, heavy cream, and vanilla.
  2. Add hot chocolate mix.
  3. Break chocolate bars into pieces and add on top of the mix.
  4. Whisk until well combined.
  5. Cover and set to low for 2 hours or until warm, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve immediately and garnish with your favorite toppings.
