A delicious and easy taco salad perfect for dinner!
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 3 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 cup tortilla chips, crushed
- 1 avocado (optional), sliced
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or turkey until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and add taco seasoning according to package instructions. Cook until fragrant.
- While the meat cooks, wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Place in a large bowl.
- Once the meat cools slightly, layer it over the lettuce. Add halved cherry tomatoes and shredded cheese on top.
- Dollop sour cream and diced avocado if using; drizzle salsa for extra flavor.
- Crush tortilla chips over the salad just before serving for added crunch.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add your favorite salsa on top.
- This salad can be made ahead of time by prepping the ingredients and layering just before serving.
