Description
A refreshing salad featuring cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large cucumbers, sliced
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (or balsamic vinegar)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Wash and slice the cucumbers into thin rounds. If the skin is tough, peel them before slicing.
- Rinse the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half. This helps to release their juices and enhances the flavor.
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers, halved cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella balls.
- Gently tear the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl with the other ingredients.
- Drizzle the extra-virgin olive oil over the salad and add balsamic glaze.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Toss everything gently to ensure an even coat of dressing.
- For a refreshing touch, let the salad chill in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes before serving.
- Transfer the salad to a serving platter or bowl for a beautiful presentation.
Notes
- This salad is best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a day.
- Customize your salad with additional ingredients like olives or avocados for extra flavor.
