- 2 oz Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter (for grilling)
- Fresh herbs (optional, e.g., thyme or rosemary)
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by slicing the bread if necessary.
- Assemble the sandwich by layering roast beef and Swiss cheese between two slices of bread.
- Butter the outside of each sandwich generously.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the sandwiches without overcrowding.
- Grill until both sides are golden brown and crispy (about 3-4 minutes per side) while ensuring the cheese melts inside.
- While grilling, warm the beef broth in a small pot on low heat.
