Description

This sweet chili chicken is a flavorful dish made with tender pieces of chicken marinated in a delightful sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, honey, and sesame oil.
  3. Toss chicken pieces in the marinade and add marinated chicken in batches and cook for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Pour remaining marinade into the pan with cooked chicken; simmer for about 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
