Description

Delicious raspberry cinnamon rolls filled with raspberry jam and a sweet glaze, perfect for breakfast or as a tasty treat.


Ingredients

  • 2¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup raspberry jam or preserves
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and granulated sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add egg and melted butter. Stir in flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over the surface, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Gently spread raspberry jam over the sugar layer and evenly scatter raspberries.
  6. Roll dough tightly into a log and slice into 9 rolls. Place in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 25–30 minutes until lightly golden.
  8. While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for glaze.
  9. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls before serving.
