Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup mini chocolate morsels
  • 1/2 cup toffee pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare
    Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  2. Cream the Butter and Sugar
    Add the softened salted butter and confectioners’ sugar to a mixing bowl. Beat on medium-high speed until light, smooth, and creamy.
  3. Add the Vanilla
    Pour in the vanilla extract. Mix briefly until fully blended and fragrant.
  4. Incorporate the Flour
    Reduce mixer speed to low. Gradually add the flour, mixing just until a soft dough forms.
  5. Fold in Chocolate and Toffee
    Use a spatula to gently fold in the mini chocolate morsels and toffee pieces. Stop as soon as everything is evenly distributed.
  6. Shape the Dough
    Scoop about one tablespoon of dough and roll into a 1-inch ball. Place dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  7. Flatten and Chill if Needed
    Lightly press down each dough ball to slightly flatten the top. Chill the tray for 5–10 minutes if the dough feels warm.
  8. Bake and Cool
    Bake for 12–14 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and set. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
